Dr. Marie Angelique Gelvezon, RND, MD, MBA

Dr. Marie Angelique T. Gelvezon is a passionate and versatile psychiatrist with a commitment to advancing mental health and wellness. Her advocacy centers on reducing mental health stigma, promoting holistic well-being, and enhancing the support available to patients through innovative approaches like animal-assisted therapy and positive psychotherapeutic techniques. With a background as a registered nutritionist-dietitian and a Master’s degree in Business Administration, Dr. Gelvezon brings a unique, multidisciplinary perspective to her psychiatric practice.

Dr. Gelvezon completed her medical degree at the Ateneo School of Medicine and Public Health and her residency in General Psychiatry at the Philippine General Hospital, where she distinguished herself through various research contributions and presentations. She has also pursued specialized training in psychodynamic psychiatry, motivational interviewing, and animal-assisted interventions, reflecting her dedication to expanding her skills to better serve her patients’ needs.

In all her roles, Dr. Gelvezon remains dedicated to improving mental health access and advocating for integrated, compassionate care that addresses the diverse needs of the communities she serves.
