Mr. Joseph Eleut Violago, MP, Counseling Psychology

Counseling and Psychotherapy

Jet Violago is a Filipino psychologist who advocates for mental health and LGBTQIA+ issues. He firmly believes that Psychology can be used as an instrument towards personal development and social change; this area of study provides such a broad perspective that allows for greater understanding and compassion to foster.

He finished his Masters in Counseling Psychology from the Ateneo de Manila University, where he also finished with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Minor in Development Management. Jet provides counseling and psychotherapy, focusing on issues such as mood disorders, trauma, and LGBTQIA+ related concerns. His research work aims to explore the intersection of LGBTQIA+ issues and mental health disorders.

Through his work, Jet hope to move towards making mental health resources more accessible for Filipinos, while also advocating for the LGBTQIA+ community in the Philippines.
